Faith in Action Alabama’s Birmingham, Mobile, and Montgomery Hub are leading anti-gun violence campaigns. The Birmingham Hub is focused on ensuring the city’s 2026-2027 budget fully funds the city’s and Jefferson County’s community-based hospital-linked anti-gun violence strategy. The Mobile Hub is playing an active role in raising awareness of the recently implemented hospital-based anti-gun violence strategy. And, the Montgomery Hub is playing a key element of the city’s anti-gun violence strategy, the community roundtable, is functioning at high-level. The community roundtable brings together key stakeholders to help ensure the city’s anti-gun violence strategy is thriving.
