From a statewide listening campaign, identified three core priorities: (1) Economic justice for low- and moderate-income communities; (2) develop a thriving public school system across zip code lines throughout Alabama; and (3) create a just state justice system.
Leading up to Alabama’s 2026 state legislative and gubernatorial elections, Faith in Action Alabama will move forward with its People’s Agenda Campaign, which will seek to push the candidates and the media to focus on the priorities of Faith in Action Alabama’s People’s Agenda.
From 2027-2030, Faith in Action Alabama’s state legislative advocacy work will focus on securing passage of legislations aligned with the priorities of the organization’s People’s Agenda.
