At the state level, Faith in Action Alabama is an active member of the Every Child Alabama Campaign, which is now focused on ensuring local school districts effectively leverage the opportunity of additional funds for every Alabama school district. These new funds were due to the advocacy work of the Every Child Alabama Coalition.
Faith in Action Alabama’s River Region Hub is leading a campaign to ensure former students of Autaugaville School are thriving in their new schools. In June 2025, the Autauga County School Board closed Autaugaville School, which was the the county’s only school with a majority African American student body. The River Region led to a campaign to oppose the closure, but ultimately was unsuccessful.
